As our evening meal was going to be a simple straightforward affair (steak baguettes), I had some time in the morning to faff about and try something different.
These are baklava tartlets and I baked them in my cupcake/muffin baking tray. They were very fiddly to do, but thankfully my concentration levels were all in sync otherwise I might have thrown them out! 🤣 I took the photo whilst the syrup was still soaking as I was excited to try them 👌🏼
I made these using the same method as my usual baklava (recipe/method on my grid), except I halved the syrup, one box of filo only (cut into quarters) and fewer nuts. Have a great weekend all! 🥳
