Breakfast in our house usually ends up as a lunch 😂 By the time I had finished doing all the jobs that needed doing from my daily (ok, almost daily 🤣) exercising to cooking stuff before it goes out of date, wrote a covering letter, did a telephone interview. it was 3pm and I was definitely hungry! So here is one of my favourite spreads, a Cypriot breakfast made with homemade toasted çörek with ayva macunu (quince jam) fried hellim, a couple of boiled eggs, olives of course, and salad.
