Complete cop out on cooking today as we were out and about. Had some very nice ready made chunky chicken & country vegetables soup with a couple of slices of toasted sourdough, and that absolutely did the trick!

These little filo triangles of joy are etli and hellimli börek parcels, and are leftovers from dinner on Monday, which I made really quickly yesterday.

I had leftover cooked mince and a mix of hellim/cheddar/dried mint. I think you could do this very easily with most leftovers.

🥐 Ingredients:

Any leftovers
2 packs of filo pastry
200 gms butter melted
Large handful of sesame and nigella seeds mixed together

🥐 Method:

Cut the filo in three vertical strips, and take three layers. Cover the remainder with a damp cloth to stop them from drying out.

Butter each layer, and then place a teaspoon of the filling into the bottom left hand corner, and fold the pastry just like a flag until you finish.

Brush with butter on top and then sprinkle the seeds on top. Pop into the oven on 180 for around 30 minutes. Make the tea ☕️ Enjoy! 😋
