🧿 Dün pırasa yemeği yaptık, çoktan yemedim. Ekmeği batırıp bol bol yedim 😋😊 Yesterday I made a leek stew with lamb, it’s one of those dishes that you can eat with either a chunk of bread or with rice. Tasty either way and very easy to make 😋🥰 Recipe below:

This is for a family of 5. I used 6 leeks and 3 packs of diced lamb.

First brown your meat in oil and remove to a plate. Whilst the meat is browning, chop and wash the leeks thoroughly to remove all the dirt. Slice the leeks into around 1 inch thickness. Put Olive oil in the pan or pot and fry on a medium heat for around 8 minutes. Then add 2 tins of chopped tomatoes, and fry for a further 5-6 minutes.

Add juice of one lemon, salt and 2 lamb cubes and cover with water.

Bring to the boil and simmer for 45 minutes stirring intermittently. Job done ✅ 😉😊
