Food and memories.. it’s been yonks since I have made sıyah gözlü fasulye (black eyed beans) salad, and with the warmer weather, it was a no brainer really.
The only nag on this salad is that you have to think about it the day before, as it needs soaking in water overnight. However, the great thing is that you can eat this salad warm or cold. Great eh?!
I also used it as an opportunity to finish up some ‘use me or I’m gonna die’ peppers, lots of red onion, tomatoes, parsley and the last of the pomegranate, because, why not?! Seasoned with salt, pepper, olive oil and lots of lemon! 😋 Have a great weekend!!
