I love a meze-type dinner with a little bit of everything. The drawback is that I always end up eating more than I intended as I reach for ‘just one more köfte’! 😋

We had leftover yalancı dolma (stuffed vine leaves), freshly fried köfte, homemade cacık (tzatziki), hummus with smoked paprika, salad stuff, vermicelli rice (which I forgot to include in the photo 🙄) and melizcooks pide. Yep, I was stuffed, but very satisfied at the end!

The köfte recipe is on my grid, and the stuffed vine leaves recipe I posted the other day, if you fancy giving these a go.. 😊

  1. Your delicious looking post popped up for me under the #turkishbreakfast tag, and I was fascinated to learn another difference between British and American food words. We call them stuffed grape leaves; I’d never heard them called vine leaves before! So your post was both tantalizing and educational 😊

  2. It all looks so tasty. I love this kind of meal and I completely understand the “just one more” feeling 😂 Lovely 😋❤️

  3. I always eat too much with this sort of meal too, anything where you can keep picking I’m terrible!
