I simply heard on the information that journey overseas from the UK is extraordinarily unlikely this 12 months, so I’d prefer to put a name out for any airways on the market (who simply occur to homecooks!), and put in a request to please GETMEOUTOFHERE! I would like the solar!! I would like Cyprus ❤️ 🙏🏻
On a lighter notice, these lokma do remind me of house, it’s one of many first issues we glance to purchase after we land on the island, and it’s scrumptious 🤤
For those who aren’t conversant in lokma, they’re pastries product of bread and deep-fried dough, soaked in syrup or honey (ofc! 😂) with cinnamon. Let me let you know that the crunch in your mouth after which the discharge of syrup is simply one thing else! 👌🏼
The Arabs used to name these “decide’s morsels”, of their 13th century cookbooks, the Turks name it lokma, the Greeks name it loukoumades. It doesn’t matter what you name it, it’s only a scrumptious candy dessert and one in all our household favourites 😋
