There are days I work with dough after I suppose “it’s nice!, I don’t know why I don’t do that extra usually”, after which there are days like yesterday after I thought “I f***ing hate these items! I don’t know why I take advantage of it!”

I don’t know what it was yesterday however I threw two makes an attempt at making dough into the bin. One didn’t rise and one, effectively, let’s simply not go there! So I reached for a puff pastry hack that I noticed on twisted to avoid wasting my sanity.

Really easy, and far simpler than the sample implies at first look. ‘How you can’ pics 👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼 and the cheese I used was hellim (halloumi) with dried mint ofc 🤣 which was good for a mid-morning/tea-time snack. Peace was restored in our home.

Upon getting rolled it up, seize a pastry brush and go over them with a crushed egg and pop into the oven on 180 for no less than 40 minutes (it took longer to bake than regular as a result of twists I believe) rotating on the mid-way level. As soon as out of the oven, go over it with just a little melted butter, make a cup of tea and luxuriate in! 😋
