Note to self: stop buying puff pastry and then forgetting about it until it has to be used before expiry! ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

That said, these went in a blink of the eye yesterday, so Iโ€™m happy with that.

Recipe and method ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ and below ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

Ingredients:

1 pack of puff pastry
6 Cumberland sausages
Quince Jam
1 egg whisked

Method:

Put some flour onto the work surface and place the puff pastry sheet on top. Halve the sheet vertically.

Down the middle of the sheet, add the Quince jelly, I use roughly a couple of tablespoons, and spread it out leaving the edges free.

Remove the sausage casing (which is pretty disgusting to be fair! ๐Ÿคฎ) and add three sausages down the centre. In the free edges you can either use egg wash or water as a sealant.

Bring one side over and tightly roll it over, then slice to your preferred size, and apply egg wash and two tiny slits to the top.

Place on parchment paper, and pop into the oven on 180 for 30 minutes rotating at the midpoint.

These went very quickly! Enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜‹

Have a good day all! ๐Ÿฅณ
