Sometimes you have just got to fry stuff and never mind the calories! ๐Ÿ˜‰

These little beauties are called sigara bรถreฤŸi, and they are basically stuffed yufka (filo). You can stuff them with almost anything, and traditionally, I was taught to stuff mine with hellim (halloumi) and dried mint. Some people stuff them with feta, completely up to personal preference.

Iโ€™ve captured the process ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ if you fancy giving it a go, you wonโ€™t regret it! ๐Ÿ˜‹ This makes a large batch, so reduce quantities as necessary:

๐Ÿณ Ingredients:

1 x yufka (500 gms)/filo
3 x grated halloumi
3-4 tbls of dried mint (I use turkishspices)
3 x eggs whisked to bind
1 x bowl of cold water

๐Ÿณ Method:

The method is in the photos, just swipe right ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ

I generally add about a tbls of the mix depending on the size of filo I have. Roll it up, just like you would vine leaves), wet the end with water to seal. Then shallow fry them until light brown, eat whilst hot! Enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜‹
