The closer we get to the holidays or lack thereof, the more homesick we have become. Yesterday, we took a family decision that once quarantine is lifted in Cyprus, we will do everything we can to get there this year. So I celebrated by making Çörek (a traditional Cypriot bread), and I cannot wait to toast this today to taste the crunch of the roasted sesame and I will be transported back there now. Well, in my head anyway! Will post recipe and method soon..
