Triple carbs and fried food all in one day 🙊

Homemade fried köfte, chips, shop bought pide, vermicelli rice, cacık, hummus, feta and olive salad is probably one of my favourite combinations. Did I miss anything? 😂

We probably have this meal every couple of weeks, and I never get tired of it, and neither does the family ❤️

🥘 Ingredients:

1 kilo beef mince
1 finely chopped onion
2-3 finely chopped garlic cloves
4-5 grated medium potatoes with the juice squeezed out
1 pack of finely chopped parsley
1 tbls cinnamon
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp garlic granules
Salt & Pepper to taste
3 beaten eggs
Olive Oil
Sunflower Oil

🥘 Method:

In a large mixing bowl, add the mince, onion, grated potatoes, parsley, seasoning, spices, beaten eggs and mix everything together with your hands thoroughly.

Flatten it down, and then poke holes with your finger spaced out at intervals, all the way through to the bottom of the bowl. Fill these holes up with olive oil. Then cling film and pop into the fridge until you are ready to fry/bake.

When ready, remix the ingredients all together again, and start shaping into köfte shapes and place on a tray ready to cook.

In a deep frying pan, add about two fingers worth of sunflower oil, and fry just below medium heat, for 8 minutes each side, until cooked through and brown turning at intervals.

If baking, place the köfte onto a parchment paper on a baking tray and bake for around the same time on 180 turning them over at intervals. Enjoy! 😋
